Tucked in a small-little corner in Chinatown, 8 Treasures is rarely the first on the list when one is choosing a place to dine. Indeed, there is only a handful of our vegetarian friends who are aware of its existence.

List of Veggie Outlets in SG
Here is your menu of vegetarian restaurants in Singapore. This list is not the most comprehensive, but the accuracy is guaranteed to the best of my knowledge. Most of the outlets that make it into my list have been around for a few years now. I have frequently patronized them and found that their service and food quality standards have been consistent throughout.
Over time, I will continue to add on new entry. If you have encountered some interesting outlets during your veggie trail, please feel free to drop me a mail. I would be more than happy to add them to the list.
Hopefully this will benefit all veggie friends in Singapore or those who are planning their trips to Singapore.

Veggie on the Trail [SG]
15 years ago, I used to be bewildered at my grandmother for being a vegetarian. Although I did not condemned her dietary style then, I could not be bothered to find out the reason why she turned into a vegetarian.
Today, I have joined the animal-loving, healthy-living and eco-conscience club - a full-fledged vegetarian. People turned into vegetarians for many reasons. Some believe in the karmic cycle where it is believed that the soul of the meat that we eat now will come back to haunt us at a later point in life or even in the next life. Some are compelled by health or medical reasons. Some are driven by their compassion for the animals and stand by the principles that animals do have their rights, just like we human do.
Whatever the case is, we are connected by one common traits - the food that we eat from our plate today is pure from any form of cruelty and suffering.
For all our veggie friends in Singapore, this blog is dedicated for you. I will share reviews on vegetarian food or vegetarian outlets - from all parts of Singapore - that hopefully will help your trail for that next vegetarian meal.
